Four months after 2018’s show and our team are still reeling from the excitement of a record-breaking show. We went in for a bigger and better show and 2018 certainly delivered. The show tripled in size this year and it’s only set to grow even more in 2019.

Crowds formed for all of the CPD accredited seminars, most notably Hedgehog Security’s talk on the five most common causes of breaches, how they occurred and what happens in the moments following the attack. Taken by Hedgehog’s own, Peter Bassill, this seminar provided advice and insight into how to avoid, and guard, against cyber attacks and left the audience buzzing with a wealth of knowledge.

Our keynote lineup drew crowds once again with speakers from the likes of, Richard Hugo Hamman from Leap speaking about digital conveyancing, Chris Fawcett from Lloyds Bank on how to avoid being a victim of fraud, and Brett Johnson, of AnglerPhish speaking about being America’s former most wanted cybercriminal.

Another hugely exciting feature of 2018’s show was the Legalex Awards. With 4 categories, the competition was fierce and our finalists did incredibly well pitching their products and businesses to our panel of judges. The winners this year were: Tonic Works for the Innovation Award, Wandera took our Legal Cyber Security Award, Infotrack won Product of the Year and Leap received the award for Practice Efficiency. A full list of the finalists for all of the categories can be found here.

The selection of exhibitors this year created a competitive environment which put direct competitors face to face, forcing them to prove exactly why our visitors should choose their service.

Richard Hugo-Hamman told our team, “we’ve actually got a lot of competitors here, which is a good thing! It makes it more interesting, it means more lawyers will come next year because they’re just getting more choice.”

This highlights exactly why we urge visitors to attend; this is one of very few opportunities visitors are going to get to spend time being talked through a service and having the ability to walk across the hall to compare exactly which service suits their needs while also picking up CPD points at one of our many seminars. There’s no wonder we rebooked 56% of our exhibitors for 2019’s show and more are booking their stands every day. Don’t fall behind your competitors, enquire now!
